Mee-kel is the MVP associated with the judwan teams in DreadBall. His name is a terrible pun relating to a famous basketball player.
Mee-kel was painted to match my Rupture Farmers judwan team (Finished. Photos up soon). Its an ok model, a little nicer than the regular judwan players. I dont like his cape though, its a bit too fantasy looking for my tastes and for the DreadBall aesthetic as I see it.
Getting into realism regarding sci-fi sports games is dodgy ground, but I do think that wearing a cape in a lethal contact sport is a dumb idea. Background wise its apparently an item of funereal clothing that Mee-Kel wears as a sign of respect for his nearly extinct species and screwed up home planet.
Thats a cool reason to wear something I suppose, I just wish that the something wasnt a cape. More emphasis on the bracelets and gorget or something similar would have been better.
Mee-kel is an absolute bastard in game terms. As you might expect he is an uncatchable, high-scoring type of bastard rather than a beat-you-to-death sort of bastard (Buzzcut is the top brawler in DreadBall currently).
